Kuwait taekwondo team celebrates with the national flag.

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: The Arab Cup Championship in Fujairah recently concluded with Kuwait taekwondo team clinching three notable medals. In the internationally classified event, Musaab Al-Masoudi, a   secured the gold medal in the under 160 height category. His teammate, Walid Al-Mutairi, earned a silver medal in the same category, while Hussein Shamouh claimed a bronze medal in the under 172 height category.

Hani Al-Marshad, the President of the Taekwondo Federation, expressed satisfaction with the team's performance, emphasizing that their participation in the Arab Cup Championship was a significant achievement aligned with the goals set by the Federation's Board of Directors. Winning these medals not only brings glory to Kuwait but also contributes to the development of a generation capable of achieving future sporting titles.

Highlighting the importance of such external participations, Al-Marshad emphasized their role in providing players with valuable experience and building confidence, factors crucial for the team's growth and success on the international stage.
