KUWAIT CITY, Feb 8: Traffic police officers arrested 18 Arabs and Asians in various governorates within a 24-hour period for violating the Residency and Labor laws. A security source revealed that traffic patrols apprehended the abovementioned individuals in the recent security campaign and were referred to the concerned authorities for legal action. The source confirmed that the campaign is part of the intensified security efforts aimed at maintaining national security and to track down lawbreakers. Meanwhile, a citizen was arrested and his vehicle impounded in Mubarak Al-Kabeer for driving recklessly. According to a security source, the citizen was spotted driving erratically by traffic patrols. The officers detained him and took the necessary legal measures.
