Kuwait Suspends Vehicle Transfer Services on Sahel App Due to Technical Issue

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 29: The Government Communication Center announced on Sunday that vehicle ownership transfer and renewal services provided by the Ministry of Interior through the Sahel App have been temporarily suspended due to a technical malfunction in the Insurance Regulatory Unit’s systems.

According to the notice, the disruption has affected key digital services related to vehicle ownership procedures. The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the suspension is in place until further notice while technical teams work to resolve the issue.

The Insurance Regulatory Unit is currently addressing the malfunction and working to restore services as quickly as possible.

Authorities assured the public that efforts are underway to resume normal operations, and updates will be issued once services are restored.
