Kuwait Supports Bahrain’s Efforts to Safeguard National Stability

KUWAIT CITY, May 9: His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, held a telephone conversation with Bahrain’s Interior Minister, Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, reaffirming Kuwait’s support for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its efforts to safeguard national security and stability.

According to a statement issued by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, Sheikh Fahad praised the readiness and vigilance of Bahraini security authorities in confronting various security challenges, stressing Kuwait’s full backing for all measures taken to preserve Bahrain’s security.

During the call, both ministers highlighted the deep-rooted historical and fraternal ties between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, underscoring the strong bonds of cooperation and coordination between the two Gulf nations.

The two sides also emphasized the importance of continued security coordination and joint cooperation to enhance regional security and stability amid ongoing challenges facing the region.

The conversation reflected the close relations between Kuwait and Bahrain and their shared commitment to strengthening Gulf security cooperation.
