KUWAIT CITY, Jun 1: Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned what it described as repeated Iranian attacks, calling them a “dangerous escalation” and a direct threat to the country’s security and stability.
In a statement, the ministry said the incidents constitute a “flagrant violation” of international law, the United Nations Charter, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026), adding that they also endanger civilians and critical infrastructure in Kuwait.
The ministry warned that the continuation of such actions undermines regional de-escalation efforts and threatens wider stability in the Gulf. It reiterated Kuwait’s “categorical rejection” of what it called aggressive practices.
Kuwait also affirmed its right to take necessary measures to protect its security and territory, holding Iran fully responsible for the alleged attacks in accordance with international law and relevant UN resolutions.
