KUWAIT CITY, Jun 28: The Kuwaiti official gazette, Kuwait Alyoum, published two decrees on Sunday revoking Kuwaiti citizenship from six individuals, including those who acquired citizenship through them.
The first decree, No. 101 of 2026, revoked the citizenship of five individuals under Article 21 bis (a) of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning the Kuwaiti Nationality Law and its amendments.
The second decree, No. 102 of 2026, revoked citizenship from one individual and all persons who obtained citizenship through that individual.
The decrees were published in the official gazette, making the citizenship revocations formally effective.
