KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: The Kuwait Al-Youm official gazette has published an appendix to the decision of the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Investigation regarding the loss of Kuwaiti citizenship for nine individuals.
The supplement to Issue No. 1802, published on Thursday, August 6, 2026, included Decision No. (13/72) of 2026 issued by the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Investigation concerning the withdrawal of Kuwaiti nationality.
The decision was issued after reviewing the Constitution, Article 11 of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning the Kuwaiti Citizenship Law and its amendments, and after approval by the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Investigation.
According to the decision, Kuwaiti citizenship was lost by the following individuals:

- Hamoud Khalid Muhammad Khalid Al-Ajmi – Reference No. 106204344

- Hamda Khalid Muhammad Khalid Al-Ajmi – Reference No. 106206343
- Harith Yusuf Al-Sheikh Abdul Mohsen Al-Babtain – Reference No. 104526400
- Ady Yusuf Al-Sheikh Abdul Mohsen Al-Babtain – Reference No. 104522402
- Muthanna Yusuf Al-Sheikh Abdul Mohsen Al-Babtain – Reference No. 104524401

The decision stated that all concerned authorities must implement the ruling within their respective jurisdictions, with the decision taking effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
The decision was signed by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, who also serves as Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Verification. It was issued on July 30, 2026, corresponding to 16 Safar 1448 AH.
