KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: Kuwait’s official gazette, Kuwait Alyoum, announced the issuance of three decrees on Sunday, stripping a total of 365 individuals of their Kuwaiti citizenship, along with those who had obtained nationality through them by descent.
According to the publication, the first decree revoked the citizenship of 345 individuals, the second targeted three individuals, and the third applied to one individual. A separate fourth decree ordered the revocation of citizenship for 8 more people.
Additionally, a Cabinet decision mandated the withdrawal of nationality from six individuals and their dependents.
