Kuwait strengthens women's roles in national security
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, witnessed the oath-taking ceremony of the 13th batch of graduates from the Women's Police Institute.

KUWAIT CITY, May 11: Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, emphasized the importance of empowering women and enhancing their participation in various areas of police work.

This statement was made during the oath-taking ceremony of the 13th batch of female graduates from the Police Institute, held on Sunday. The 11 graduates had successfully completed the training and qualification requirements for security work and were granted the rank of corporal.

Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf commended the graduates for their readiness and discipline, highlighting the need for continuous development and qualification in the field. The ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Ali Al-Wuhaib, Director General of the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences, and Colonel Iman Boland, Director of the Women's Police Institute.

The event underscores Kuwait's commitment to integrating women into the security sector, reflecting a broader strategy to enhance their roles in maintaining national security.
