Kuwait steps up security measures

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, has instructed an immediate increase in security measures, including heightened deployment of fixed, mobile, and foot patrols, to effectively address any emerging issues across the country.

During a security meeting chaired by Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, attended by assistant undersecretaries and presided over by Lieutenant General Anwar Al-Barjas, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, the latest security developments were reviewed.

Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled expressed his gratitude for the unwavering dedication exhibited by every sector within the Ministry, emphasizing his trust in the competency of the Interior Ministry’s personnel to carry out their assigned responsibilities. He urged all Ministry employees to maintain their high level of competence and readiness.

During the meeting, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior and the Assistant Undersecretaries provided updates on the security plans in progress and discussed the outcomes of the Ministry’s extensive campaigns designed to uphold security across various areas (KUNA)
