KUWAIT CITY, Oct 20: Despite the actions of the Zionist occupation army, support for Gaza and its people remains strong among those who stand in solidarity with the Palestinian cause. The supporters of Gaza are calling for increased resilience among the people of Gaza, and their determination is echoing loudly. The chants of the supporters of Gaza are resounding, and they are urging others to join them in their unwavering and unconditional solidarity for Palestinian liberation

Dr. Jassim Al-Astad, the Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, joined the gathering at Al-Erada Square to express his solidarity with the Palestinian people. He emphasized that his presence at Al-Erada Square was a personal commitment, driven by the belief that the Palestinian issue is a concern for every Kuwaiti household.

Al-Astad stressed that Palestine is the foremost issue, and it is imperative that Kuwaitis participate in such gatherings to demonstrate their solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are facing an aggressive campaign of extermination by the Zionist forces.

He continued by expressing hope that these collective efforts would help curb these acts of aggression, drawing attention to the recent statements made by Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, regarding the ongoing conflict with the Zionist entity. Al-Astad underlined that these statements represent the government's stance and the unwavering commitment of all ministers to support and advocate for the Palestinian cause, which is deeply rooted in every Kuwaiti home.

Reflecting on the past, Al-Astad recalled how supporting Palestine was a common cause in his youth, and he expressed pride in this enduring commitment. He made it clear that Palestine would always remain the top priority until the occupation of the Zionist entity was ended.

To ensure the safety of participants and residents, security personnel were present in the vicinity of Al-Irada Square. Major General Abdullah Al-Rajaib, the Assistant Undersecretary for the Public Security, Traffic, and Operations Sector, supervised patrols and the deployment of security forces to manage traffic, ease congestion, and maintain order.

The solidarity stand saw participants displaying Palestinian banners and flags, echoing slogans condemning the Zionist entity and calling for the removal of the new American ambassador.
