KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23: The team of Abdulrahman Al-Awadi and Abdullah Al-Abdullah clinched the title of The Padel League T2, organized by the Kuwait Sport for All Federation from November 14 to 22. The event drew strong participation from local teams and professional players, with competitions held across four categories to maximize player involvement and development.
In the Under-16 division, Saud Al-Nasser and Bader Nasser secured first place, while Mahdi Sabah and Abdulwahab Al-Salahi finished runners-up.
In the Men’s Over-40 category, Ahmed Al-Yateem and Hussein Al-Gharib placed second, with the championship going to Ahmed Ashour and Hassan Al-Gharib.
The Women’s final saw Maryam Al-Saraj and Dalal Al-Junaei claim the top spot, followed by Sarah Bahbahani and Dalal Al-Jazzaf in second place.
In the Open Men’s final, Abdulaziz Maayouf and Fouad Bahbahani took second place, while the duo of Abdulrahman Al-Awadi and Abdullah Al-Abdullah walked away with the title.
Bashar Abdullah, Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Sport, commended the high technical level on display throughout the tournament, noting that its four diverse categories expanded participation opportunities. He also extended his appreciation to the chairman and board members of the Kuwait Sport for All Federation for organising a highly successful event that attracted a strong turnout from both players and enthusiastic crowds, especially during the finals.
