Dr. Amthal Hadi Al-Huwayla, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Child welfare
KUWAIT CITY, Apr 5: Dr Amthal Hadi Al-Huwayla conducted an inspection visit to a shelter center affiliated with the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, reviewing operational workflows and assessing the living conditions of residents.
During the visit, the Minister examined service delivery standards and ensured that safety protocols are being properly implemented, particularly in light of the exceptional circumstances the region has recently experienced.
She affirmed that efforts are ongoing to maintain the highest levels of safety and care for residents and staff, in coordination with relevant authorities, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding well-being and ensuring a stable environment.
According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Minister expressed satisfaction with the overall condition of residents and the quality of services provided. She stressed the Ministry’s continued commitment to maintaining a secure and supportive environment under all conditions.
She also noted that specialized teams are continuously monitoring developments and implementing precautionary measures as needed, adding that operations at the facility are proceeding normally without disruption, thanks to the efforts and dedication of staff.
The Government Communication Center said the visit reflects ongoing government oversight of social care facilities and a commitment to ensuring readiness and service continuity.
