Kuwait City, May 24: The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, through its Inspection Supervision Department in Jahra Governorate and affiliated inspection centers, carried out routine field inspections of food establishments as part of ongoing monitoring campaigns to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
During the inspections, authorities recorded a total of 28 violations across various food outlets. Officials said that three establishments were found using meat and vegetables unfit for human consumption, in addition to engaging in the sale of adulterated food products.
Following the violations, the concerned establishments were immediately shut down, and legal measures were taken in accordance with food safety regulations.
The authority reaffirmed its continued commitment to intensive inspection campaigns across the governorate to safeguard public health and ensure that all food establishments comply with approved standards and regulations.
