KUWAIT CITY, April 23: Kuwait’s Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Wahab Al-Awadhi, has issued two decisions to revoke the licenses of two dental centers over serious violations impacting professional regulations and patient safety.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health said the first decision involved cancelling the license of a dental center after it was found to have sublet and allowed third-party investment in the facility, in direct violation of Ministerial Decision No. (36) of 2024 and the Law on the Practice of the Profession.
The second decision targeted a specialized dental center whose license was revoked after it was confirmed that the facility had ceased operations and remained closed beyond the legally permitted period without a valid justification.
The ministry emphasized that such violations constitute a serious breach of licensing obligations and undermine occupational safety standards as well as the quality of healthcare services. It added that the decisions were based on findings from technical and administrative inspection committees, supported by documented field reports in line with approved legal frameworks.
