KUWAIT CITY, Jun 25: Kuwaiti authorities have closed a health institute after inspectors from the Ministry of Commerce and Industries, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, uncovered violations, including breaches of regulations prohibiting cash transactions for certain activities.
The inspection teams found the facility violating Ministerial Resolution No. (32) of 2026, which restricts cash payments for specified business activities. Additional violations related to the operation of the facility were also detected.
Authorities said all required legal procedures were taken against the establishment in coordination between the relevant departments of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Interior.
The violating health institute was immediately shut down as part of ongoing efforts to enforce regulations, protect consumers, and ensure compliance with commercial and health-related requirements.
