Kuwait Shuts Airspace for Safety Amid Security Concerns

Kuwait City, Feb 28: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Saturday the temporary closure of Kuwaiti airspace to all flights and passenger traffic amid heightened political and security tensions in the region.

The authority said the decision was taken as a precautionary measure to safeguard passengers, airlines, and airport operations from potential risks, emphasizing that ensuring safety and security remains its top priority.
