KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: The Kuwaiti Embassy in New Delhi took part in the 35th annual charity bazaar organized by the Commonwealth Women’s Association and the International Women’s Club, in cooperation with accredited diplomatic missions and civil society groups in India.

Kuwait’s Ambassador to India, Meshaal Al-Shamali, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Sunday that the embassy’s regular participation reflects Kuwait’s longstanding humanitarian commitment and its support for initiatives that promote social solidarity and assist vulnerable communities.

Al-Shamali, who served as this year’s guest of honor, highlighted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ continued backing of Kuwaiti missions abroad and their engagement in charitable and humanitarian activities.

He also thanked Kuwaiti organizations, including Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways, for contributing valuable gifts such as airline tickets, which were used in raffle draws during the event.

The one-day bazaar, held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, featured wide participation from Arab and foreign embassies, along with Indian companies showcasing a range of diverse products.
