KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: Kuwait Shooting Sport Club President Duaij Al-Otaibi praised the national women’s shooters after they secured five medals — one gold, two silver, and two bronze — at the 8th Arab Women’s Clubs Games held recently in Sharjah, UAE.
Speaking to reporters during a ceremony honoring the medal winners, Al-Otaibi said the achievement reflects the athletes’ high level of performance, commitment, and determination throughout the competition. He noted that the medal tally was the result of intensive preparation and serious training.
He stressed that the club remains committed to recognizing Kuwaiti shooters who excel in international events, highlighting that such recognition serves as motivation to continue achieving success. Al-Otaibi also commended delegation head Amina Ismail, along with the technical and administrative staff, for their efforts in supporting the team.
Expressing pride in the accomplishment, he pointed out that the success coincides with Kuwait’s national celebrations in February, extending his congratulations to the country’s leadership on the occasion.
Al-Otaibi further thanked Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs Dr. Tariq Al-Jalhaima, the Public Authority for Sport, and the Kuwait Olympic Committee for their continued support, affirming the club’s determination to secure more victories in upcoming competitions.
