TANGIER, Morocco, Sept 27: The Kuwait national shooting team continued its impressive run at the Arab Shooting Championship in Tangier, Morocco, adding five medals to raise its overall tally to nine in the tournament.

Team manager Mishfi Al-Mutairi praised the shooters’ performances, highlighting the men’s trap team of Nasser Al-Muqled, Talal Al-Rashidi, and Abdulrahman Al-Faihan, who clinched the gold medal.

Veteran shooter Khaled Al-Mudhaf secured silver in the men’s individual trap, while Talal Al-Rashidi added a bronze in the same event. On the women’s side, Shahad Al-Hawal, Sarah Al-Hawal, and Reem Al-Zaman captured silver in the team trap competition, with Sarah Al-Hawal also winning bronze in the individual trap.

Al-Mutairi expressed pride in what he described as “honorable” results, affirming his confidence that Kuwait’s shooters will continue to build on their medal count as the championship progresses.
