Kuwait shines with West Asia table tennis title

AMMAN, Aug 15: Kuwait’s girls’ U-11 table tennis team secured the West Asia Championship title in Jordan after defeating Iraq 3-0.

The victory earned Kuwait first place in the girls’ U-11 category and marked a notable achievement for the country’s table tennis program.

Kuwait Table Tennis Federation board member Nader Behbehani praised the players for their impressive performance, highlighting their technical quality and competitive spirit. He also commended the technical and administrative staff for their role in the team’s success.

Behbehani said the title would provide a valuable boost to Kuwait’s other national teams competing in the championship, which runs until next Thursday.

Kuwait is represented across boys’ and girls’ age groups at the tournament, including U-19, U-17, U-15, U-13, and U-11.
