KUWAIT CITY, Apr 14: The Ministry of Education has launched a new digital service, “My Academic Certificate,” to update academic qualification records for employees across the education sector and other government entities.
The initiative is coordinated with the Certificates Examination Committee, which has notified employees through the government’s Sahel application as part of efforts to enhance data accuracy and streamline administrative procedures.
The ministry urged all teaching staff, administrative employees, and personnel in the educational field to update their academic data through the online platform, emphasizing that no in-person visits to administrative offices are required.
The service will be available for one month, from April 14 to May 14, 2026.
Two-Step Process
The ministry outlined two tracks for users:
- First-time users: Required to enter their academic details, upload supporting documents, and confirm accuracy.
- Existing users: Can review previously submitted data, confirm its accuracy, or re-upload documents if needed.
Officials said the move is part of Kuwait’s broader push toward digital transformation, aimed at simplifying procedures, improving efficiency, and ensuring the accuracy of employee records.
The ministry also warned that failure to update information within the deadline could lead to delays in administrative procedures or job-related benefits tied to academic qualifications.
