Kuwait Sets New Fees for Marine Crafts and Jet Skis

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 2: The Ministry of Interior has introduced new fees for marine crafts and jet skis under Decision No. 1089 of 2026, published in the official gazette “Kuwait Alyoum.”

According to Article One of the decision, the fee for the first-time issuance of licenses for marine crafts and jet skis has been set at KD 5 for all sizes.

The decision also outlined fees for issuing replacements for lost or damaged licenses, as follows:

More than 40 feet: KD 25
Between 16 and 40 feet: KD 20
Less than 16 feet: KD 15

For changing the activity or nature of work of a boat, the new fees will be:

More than 40 feet: KD 70
Between 16 and 40 feet: KD 60
Less than 16 feet: KD 50

Article Two of the decision assigned the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior responsibility for implementing the resolution, which takes effect from the date of its publication in the official gazette.
