KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: Kuwait will host on Friday the second and third rounds of both the 2023 Formula Regional Middle East Championship and the UAE Formula 4 Championship for the first time in the country, organisers said. The dual event is being managed by Kuwait Motor Town in cooperation with Kuwait International Automobile Club.

Each round in both competitions is set to hold three races, with 12 in total planned for the milestone event, Kuwait Motor Town Director-General Mohammad Al-Abdulrazaq told a press conference. Racers are currently preparing for the historic week-long tournaments on Kuwait's racing circuit, approved by the global motor sports governing body, FIA.

Al-Abdulrazaq urged the public to attend and experience the competitive nature of the event, which will witness Formula Regional races held for the first time in the region. The first rounds of the two championships were held in Dubai with the forth also scheduled to be later held in the emirate followed by a fifth round at the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi. (KUNA)
