AMMAN, Feb 26: Some nine trucks laden with 120 tonnes of humanitarian aid crossed into Syria to deliver relief to the victims of a devastating earthquake that struck earlier this month, Kuwait’s Red Crescent Society (KRCS) said on Sunday.
The aid runs the gamut from food to healthcare supplies, all of which aim to “alleviate the misery” of Syrians affected by the natural calamity, KRCS representative in Turkiye Dr. Msaad Al-Enezi told KUNA. Kuwaiti aid bodies have leapt into action in the wake of the earthquake, delivering “timely and effective” relief to the areas that bore the brunt of the natural disaster, he underlined.(KUNA)
