Kuwait seen as jump pad for Qatar World Cup fans

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 3: According to an integrated government plan that has been prepared, Kuwait will be a transit station for fans who intend to attend the World Cup matches in Qatar, which kicks off on November 20. The sources stated that the most prominent scenarios published by Al-Qabas and awaiting Cabinet approval show Kuwait receiving fans, transit them to and from Doha, providing hotel accommodation and arranging full facilities for those coming to the country by facilitating the issuance of visas.
