Kuwait seeks to upgrade relations with Tajikistan

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26, (KUNA): Kuwaiti Ambassador to Tajikistan Mohammad Al-Omairi underlined the strong Kuwaiti-Tajik relations on Tuesday. Al-Omairi’s remarks came during his participation in an international scientific conference in Tajikistan, titled “35 Years of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan: Developing and Strengthening Weather and Climate Monitoring and Glacier Protection in the Context of Climate Change,” said Kuwait Embassy in Dushanbe in a statement received by KUNA. The Kuwaiti Ambassador applauded Tajikistan’s achievements in developing key state bodies and promoting peace and national unity. He noted that Kuwait is eager to boost cooperation on different levels with the country, adding that the two sides share similar views on topics like sustainable development and international cooperation
