KUWAIT CITY, Nov 22: In a recent friendly match at Al-Shabab Stadium in Al-Ahmadi, Kuwait triumphed over Al-Salmiya with a 4-2. Youssef Nasser, Ali Hussein, Yassin Ameri, and Al-Mahdi Rahma found the net for Kuwait, while Senegalese professional Cesar scored for Al-Salmiya.

As Kuwait's national team gears up for crucial fixtures, including a clash with Jordan's Al-Wahdat on November 28 in the AFC Cup's fifth round, and a face-off against Al-Arabi on December 3 in the Zain Premier League, their preparations are in full swing. Meanwhile, Al-Salmiya faces a challenging match against Al-Qadsia in the Premier League on the horizon.

In the friendly against Al-Salmiya, player Amr Abdel Fattah “Amouri” made a return for Kuwait after being sidelined due to injury since the start of the season. The Kuwaiti technical staff awaits the return of international players, including Tunisian professional Yassin Al-Khanisi and Bahraini Mohammed Marhoon.

Kuwait's Serbian coach, Boris Bunjak, emphasized the importance of completing the squad for upcoming matches, highlighting the work done during the downtime to prepare available players. With the AFC Cup clash against Al-Wahdat approaching, Bunjak stressed the team's commitment to victory in all matches, expressing confidence in the players' ability to navigate the upcoming challenges successfully.
