Kuwait Schools Go Online In Anticipation Of Heavy Rain

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: The Ministry of Education has announced a shift to remote learning in all government schools due to reports from the Meteorological Department. The decision is aimed at ensuring the safety of students and staff in anticipation of an unstable climate and heavy rainfall. The remote learning will be implemented on Thursday, the 16th of November, with both educational and administrative staff participating.

The Ministry’s official spokesperson, Ahmed Al-Wahida, emphasized that this proactive measure underscores the Ministry’s commitment to sustaining education and that necessary preparations and arrangements have been made within the educational sector to facilitate this shift. Al-Wahida urged everyone to adhere to the Ministry of Education’s instructions and stay updated on the latest official updates through its official social media accounts.

Meanwhile, Kuwait University has declared that classes will continue as usual despite of rain forecast.
