Organized by the Ministry of Education, the celebrations took place in a spirited atmosphere of gratitude, where school administrations held a variety of events to recognize the critical role teachers play in society. In their addresses during the celebrations, school principals emphasized that the teaching profession remains one of the most noble and influential pillars of society, shaping minds and instilling values in generations to come.

Students joined the festivities by expressing their heartfelt appreciation through greeting cards and messages, reaffirming their commitment to follow the path of knowledge set by their devoted teachers.

Meanwhile, Director General of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), Dr. Hassan Al-Fajjam, praised the teaching and training staff as the "fundamental pillar" of vocational education and training across various disciplines within the authority.

In a press statement issued to mark the occasion, Dr. Al-Fajjam said, “Teachers are our first partners and most important contributors to the journey of excellence and innovation.” He expressed deep gratitude to faculty members, calling them the cornerstone in building an educated Kuwaiti citizen and in fostering the country’s knowledge-based economy.

He also highlighted that World Teachers’ Day is an important opportunity to celebrate and value the immense efforts of educators in both academic instruction and moral upbringing. “Every teacher is a role model and a message bearer,” he said, addressing teachers directly. “Your vital contribution is supported by the country’s political leadership and plays a key role in achieving the goals of Kuwait Vision 2035.”

Dr. Al-Fajjam affirmed the authority’s commitment to working hand-in-hand with teachers to nurture a conscious, creative generation capable of building and advancing the nation.
