KUWAIT CITY, June 1: Under the patronage and presence of Dr. Mathal Al-Huwaila, Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, Family, and Childhood Affairs, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, the Kuwait School Sports and Higher Education Federation is organizing an event to honor morning activities and gifted centers for the 2023-2024 sports season. The ceremony will occur at 5 pm in the Al Baraka Hall of the Crowne Plaza Hotel - Farwaniya.
Faisal Al-Maqseed, Chairman of the Federation’s Board of Directors, emphasized that the ceremony will honor all distinguished players from the sports season, including those involved in morning activities organized by the Federation in collaboration with the Ministry of Education's technical guidance for physical education for both boys and girls.
He noted that this season saw a significant increase in player participation and the involvement of male and female coaches and administrative staff in clubs and federations. This aligns with the federation 2021-2026 strategy and vision, which focuses on discovering and developing school talents to supply clubs and federations.
This season it has marked the third year of the strategy, highlighted by the federation's first external participation in the Arab Championship for School Sports held in Cairo last November, where notable results were achieved. This was preceded by participation in the World University Championships in China.
The President of the Federation expressed gratitude to Dr. Mathal Al-Huwaila for her sponsorship and immediate approval of the ceremony, viewing her support as a significant incentive for the School Federation’s activities in the coming period.
