Kuwait revokes citizenship of six individuals - Know Who They Are

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 10: Kuwait has revoked the Kuwaiti citizenship of six individuals under a decision issued by the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Verification.

The decision, published in the Official Gazette Kuwait Alyoum, is based on Article 11 of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning the Kuwaiti Citizenship Law and its amendments.

The citizenship certificates revoked are:

  • Muzna Ali Ayed Al-Wazhan
  • Bakhita Ali Ayed Al-Wazhan
  • Khazna Nashi Abdullah Badah Al-Otaibi
  • Reham Jassim Khalil Abdullah Al-Qattan
  • Amira Nasser Eid Nasser Al-Mutairi
  • Sarah Mohammed Abdullah Al-Turki Al-Mulaifi

The decision, No. 17/96 of 2026, was approved by the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Verification and issued on September 3, 2026, by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, who is also chairman of the committee.

The decision instructed all relevant authorities to implement the measure and stated that it would take effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
