Kuwait Revokes Citizenship of 21 Individuals by Ministerial Decree

KUWAIT CITY, April 29: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef has issued a decision to revoke the Kuwaiti citizenship of 21 individuals, in his capacity as Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Investigation.

The decision was officially published in the gazette Kuwait Alyoum, Issue No. (7/43) of 2026. It stated that the revocations were carried out in accordance with Article (11) of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 and its amendments, following the approval of the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Nationality Investigation.

Under the directive, all concerned authorities have been instructed to implement the decision immediately. The ruling takes effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
