KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8: Kuwait has revoked the Kuwaiti citizenship certificates of 10 people under a decision issued by the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Verification.
The decision, No. 19/104 of 2026, was issued by the Council of Ministers and published in Kuwait Today, the Official Gazette, on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
The decision cites Article 11 of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 concerning the Kuwaiti Citizenship Law and its amendments. It was approved by the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Verification.
The citizenship certificates revoked are:
- Najla Hamad Ali Ayed Al-Wajhan
- Faleh Rashid Hijab Hathlan Al-Subaie
- Mashael Mubarak Mohammed Suwaid Al-Ajmi
- Jaber Ali Mohammed Fadel Mohammed Ali Al-Marri
- Sarah Faraj Mohammed Faraj Al-Hajri
- Muzna Mohammed Abdullah Hamad Al-Mutawa
- Jawaher Nazal Obaid Shabeeb
- Shaha Zaid Nasser Al-Otaibi
- Maysaloon Abdullah Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al-Zamil
- Yusra Abdul Razzaq Salem Mohammed Al Abdul Razzaq
The decision was issued on October 1, 2026, and signed by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, who also chairs the Supreme Committee for Kuwaiti Citizenship Verification.
The decision directs all relevant authorities to implement it within their respective jurisdictions and states that it takes effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
