DUBAI Oct 17,: The Kuwaiti national team are returning from their camp in Dubai, where they faced the United Arab Emirates in a match that ended with a single-goal loss. They also participated in a second match against the Syrian national team, marking their final encounter before hosting the Indian national team for the start of the qualifying campaign.
The players from Al-Azraq will rejoin their clubs today. Following this, the team will regroup immediately after the conclusion of the seventh round of the Zain Premier League on November 4th. Additionally, they will regroup after Al-Arabi and Kuwait's participation in the fourth round of the AFC Cup, scheduled for the 6th and 7th of the same month.
Khaled Ibrahim, captain of the Kuwaiti national team, clarified his recent absence from Al-Azraq's matches, citing a significant muscle strain. The medical team recommended his rest to prevent the risk of further injury. Ibrahim disclosed that he has been actively engaged in specialized training and a treatment program to facilitate his recovery, expressing optimism about returning to peak form for upcoming matches.
