Kuwait Restores Damaged Power Line After Drone Debris Incident

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 20: The Kuwait Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced the successful restoration of an overhead power transmission line that was damaged by falling debris from intercepted drones.

Official spokesperson Fatima Abbas Jawhar Hayat said technical teams completed the repairs efficiently, bringing the line back into service at dawn on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, highlighting the workforce’s readiness and commitment despite the holiday.

She added that work is ongoing to repair another affected line, with teams operating around the clock under strict technical and safety standards to maintain stability in the electrical grid and ensure uninterrupted services.

Hayat praised the efforts of engineers, technicians, and field workers, emphasizing their dedication and the importance of serving the nation under all circumstances.
