Kuwait Responds to 17 Shrapnel Incidents as Siren Activations Rise

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 18: Brigadier Nasser Bouslaib, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Kuwait, said Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams responded to 17 reports of falling shrapnel over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of such incidents to 421.

Speaking during a media briefing on current developments, Bouslaib also confirmed that warning sirens were activated three times on Tuesday, bringing the total number of siren activations to 94 since the start of the situation.

Authorities continue to monitor developments closely, with specialized teams deployed to handle incidents and ensure public safety.
