KUWAIT CITY, Mar 13: The Kuwait Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that air defense systems detected one hostile ballistic missile over the past 24 hours, but it fell outside the threat zone and caused no danger or damage.

In a media briefing on the latest field developments amid what officials described as Iranian aggression against Kuwait, the ministry’s official spokesperson, Saud Al-Atwan, said the missile was monitored and assessed as posing no risk to the country.

Al-Atwan added that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces continued their operations during the past 24 hours to monitor and track any potential aerial threats as part of ongoing defensive measures aimed at protecting Kuwait’s airspace.

He emphasized that members of the Armed Forces remain the nation’s “impregnable shield,” maintaining high levels of readiness, vigilance and preparedness through coordination and joint action across various military sectors.

Al-Atwan also expressed hopes for the continued security and stability of Kuwait under the leadership of Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Crown Prince Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
