KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: Kuwait Municipality’s Spring Camps Committee has removed 16 illegal camps and demolished nine neglected chalets in the Arifjan area as part of an ongoing campaign to enforce camping regulations.
The operations were carried out under the directives and on-the-ground follow-up of Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Abdullatif Al-Mishari, along with Municipality Director General Manal Al-Asfour.
In a statement, the Municipality’s Public Relations Department said inspection teams will continue field work across all camping sites to ensure full compliance with established rules, prevent unauthorized setups, and implement relevant decisions and regulations.
