KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23: Dar Suad Al-Sabah for Culture and Creativity has released a new historical work by Sheikha Dr. Suad Mohammed Al-Sabah titled “The Two Sheikhs,” highlighting the lives and leadership of the late Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Ruler of Kuwait, and Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Deputy Ruler from 1950 to 1961.

The publishing house said in a press statement on Sunday that the book forms part of its ongoing historical and intellectual project within its series of documentary and archival publications. The volume consists of seven chapters across roughly 460 medium-format pages and includes a curated collection of photographs and historical documents.

Dar Suad Al-Sabah also confirmed its participation in the 48th Kuwait International Book Fair, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister. This year’s edition coincides with Kuwait’s designation as the Capital of Arab Culture and Media for 2025.

The fair runs until November 29 at the Kuwait International Fairgrounds in Mishref.
