KUWAIT CITY, May 8: Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior said security authorities carried out a field campaign in the Mahboula area on Friday, leading to the closure of three illegal makeshift stalls and the arrest of 10 individuals operating them.
The campaign was conducted by the Ahmadi Governorate Criminal Investigation Department’s Fintas Investigation Office as part of ongoing efforts to combat violations and strengthen security control across the country.
According to the ministry, the stalls were being used to sell food and consumer goods in violation of regulations at three separate locations in Mahboula. Investigations further revealed that two of the arrested individuals were wanted on outstanding arrest warrants.
Authorities said all necessary legal measures were taken against the violators before they were referred to the competent authorities.
The Ministry of Interior stressed that security and inspection campaigns will continue in various areas of Kuwait to crack down on violators, curb negative activities, and maintain public order.
