KUWAIT CITY, Jun 26: Kuwait authorities have launched an investigation into the death of a Bangladeshi expatriate after initial findings at the scene raised suspicions of possible criminal involvement.

The Ministry of Interior’s operations department received a report of an alleged suicide involving the expatriate, identified by the initials A.A., born in 1994, in the Sabah Al-Salem area. Police patrols, accompanied by the head of the Sabah Al-Salem police station, Captain Saleh Al-Rabah, an ambulance crew and the criminal evidence team, immediately arrived at the location.

During the examination of the scene, forensic investigators found indications that suggested possible foul play, including marks consistent with blows and scratches around the deceased’s neck. The body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department for an external examination and autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Authorities said investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the incident and to establish whether any criminal act was involved.
