Kuwait Police Investigate Death of Asian Expat Found Hanged in Workers’ Accommodation

KUWAIT CITY, May 11: The Kuwait Ministry of Interior has launched an investigation into the death of an Asian expatriate who was found dead inside workers’ accommodation in an apparent suicide.

A security source said the investigator at Saad Al-Abdullah Police Station has instructed detectives to prepare a full report on the cause of death and verify that there is no criminal suspicion surrounding the incident.

According to the source, the case came to light after a colleague of the deceased alerted the Ministry of Interior’s operations room, reporting that the expatriate had hanged himself inside the accommodation facility.

Security personnel and forensic teams were immediately dispatched to the scene, where the body was recovered and preliminary procedures were carried out.

A case has been registered, and authorities said investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the death.
