KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17 : Kuwait’s Criminal Judgment Enforcement Investigations Department has arrested a doctor identified by the initials B.J., who owns a well-known medical clinic and was wanted in connection with several arrest warrants, an enforceable jail sentence and multiple cases involving alleged fraud and cheques.
According to a security report circulated on social media, the doctor had been keeping out of sight before security personnel tracked him down in a carefully planned operation.
Following his arrest, he was referred to Kuwait’s Central Prison to serve the enforceable sentence, the report said.
The doctor was also facing several cases involving alleged fraud and cheques, in addition to the outstanding arrest warrants.
No further details about the cases or the length of the jail sentence were provided in the report.
