Kuwait PM Reviews Critical Military Supply Chains, Urges Full Readiness

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 12: His Highness the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, conducted an inspection visit to the Supply and Logistics Authority of the Ministry of Defense on Sunday, as part of efforts to review operational readiness and logistical preparedness.

He was accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and senior military officials, including Major General Engineer Salah Saud Al-Azmi.

During the visit, the Prime Minister held a meeting with defense leadership, conveying greetings from the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, along with their appreciation for the efforts of the armed forces.

The Prime Minister praised the dedication and sacrifices of Kuwait’s military and security institutions during what he described as an exceptional period, stressing the importance of maintaining high levels of readiness to address any challenges or emergencies.

As part of the visit, he toured key logistics and supply facilities, including military vehicle depots and food and supply storage units. Officials briefed him on storage systems, distribution mechanisms, and security and safety procedures in place to ensure operational efficiency.

The visit comes as part of ongoing government efforts to strengthen defense preparedness and enhance the operational capabilities of Kuwait’s armed forces.
