KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: The Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT), plans to issue a tender for the study, design, and construction supervision of infrastructure improvements in Rawda, Adailiya, and Khaldiya. This project aligns with the ministry's ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure in residential areas and improve the efficiency of its utility networks.

Through this project, the ministry will upgrade the infrastructure in the above-mentioned areas by conducting the necessary technical studies, developing appropriate designs for the improvement works, and overseeing the execution in accordance with the technical specifications and requirements. The preparatory phase includes conducting studies and developing designs that define the scope of work and implementation priorities, based on the actual needs of the three areas. This will pave the way for completing the necessary procedures to issue the tender and award the contract in compliance with the regulations.

Regarding the tender procedures, CAPT recently reviewed a letter from the ministry (Ref. No. 2601) requesting amendments to the project. CAPT returned the file to the ministry, as the latter failed to respond within the timeframe stipulated in the previous decision of the agency (Decision No. 30 issued during the 82nd meeting of CAPT for 2026). In a related development, the ministry continues to carry out infrastructure improvement projects in various residential areas. Similar work is underway in Yarmouk and Qurtoba to develop infrastructure and improve services in these areas.
