Sources said the company is proceeding with its plan to open the largest possible number of gas stations according to its timeline in order to solve the traffic congestion problem in some vital areas.
Sources revealed that the company designs new stations in accordance with environmental requirements, and that its expansion plan also aims to establish more gas stations in new residential areas in coordination with Kuwait Municipality and a number of other concerned ministries. Sources went on to say that KNPC is also developing car wash stations to meet the diverse needs of its customers and in order to increase the revenues of car wash stations to reach around KD500,000 annually by 2026, after witnessing a decline of only KD393,000 in fiscal 2024/2025.
