Kuwait placed in Group C for Arab Beach Soccer Cup 2023

KUWAIT CITY, April 16:  The Kuwaiti national team has been placed in Group C for the upcoming Arab Beach Soccer Cup 2023, along with the UAE, Libya, and Comoros. The draw results were announced yesterday at the headquarters of the Arab Football Association in Riyadh. The tournament will consist of three groups, each comprising four teams, with the Saudi Football Association hosting the championship at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah from May 11 to May 20. Twelve Arab teams are expected to participate.

The Arab Beach Soccer Championship was first held in Egypt in 2008, with the Egyptian national team taking the title. The Saudi national team won the second edition, held in Saudi Arabia in 2010, while the Egyptian national team won the third edition in Egypt in 2014.
