Traffic officers writing citations for various kinds of offenses committed by motorists at an unidentified location

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 31: The Kuwait General Directorate of Traffic announced today, Sunday, that patrols from the General Directorate of Rescue Police, in the course of their field operations, successfully apprehended numerous violators, including wanted individuals, and handed them over to the appropriate authorities.

In a weekly statistical report shared on the "X" platform, the Traffic Department revealed that 23 individuals were forwarded to the General Administration for Drug Control.

Furthermore, 12 individuals wanted for various offenses, 10 individuals lacking proof of identity, and an equal number without valid residency permits were arrested. Additionally, two individuals were apprehended for violating environmental laws.

The report noted the impoundment of 144 vehicles and 47 motorcycles, with 30 wanted vehicles seized. The patrols addressed a total of 1,425 incidents, including 255 reports of severe accidents.
