‘Kuwait, Pakistan ties solid’

Islamabad, Dec 18: Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah held Saturday a session of bilateral talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah meets his Pakistani counterpart Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

The Kuwaiti foreign minister will chair the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the 17th Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the situation in Afghanistan, which will be held tomorrow, Sunday, in Pakistan. Today’s session dealt with the solid bilateral ties between both countries, as well as ways to enhance and develop the strategic partnership between them in various fields. Topics on the agenda of the scheduled OIC extraordinary session were also discussed by the two ministers during their meeting today. (KUNA)
